Old Timers
We provide long term care for senior equines. As a rescue we specialize in caring for horses over the age of 19 years of age. As horses mature and age they are often neglected or abandoned. We provide them a safe place to live out their golden years.
Special care
Diet and medical care are key components for a healthy lifestyle for our senior friends. We use exclusive Purina brand feeds. We use Glenwood Veternarian clinic as our source for care. They have emergency service available and also come out to the farm when we need them. If you are looking for a special place for your beloved senior give us a call and we will discuss a plan to get them placed in our care.
Group tours and visits
We offer tours and visits to our barnyard. Our seniors are gentle creatures and love entertaining children. These visits are free and make a great field trip for a class or daycare. We accept free will donations but they are not required. Please call Lura to set up your visit!
